A.B. Osterholt was a Dutch art historian and photography expert who specialized in the work of George Hendrik Breitner. He is best known for compiling and publishing 'Breitner en zijn foto's' (1974), which brought together a significant collection of Breitner's photographs, including many rare and previously unpublished images. His work contributed significantly to the scholarly understanding of Breitner's photographic practice as a complementary medium to his painting.
