Anna Wijnanda Maria (Nan) Snijders-Oomen (1916–1992) was a Dutch child psychologist and developer of the SON-test, a non-verbal intelligence test. She began her professional career in 1943 by developing tests for deaf children at the Sint-Michielsgestel institute. She later became a prominent figure in the study of autism in the Netherlands, being one of the first to focus on its specific communication issues. Her work often intersected with photography and literature, notably through her collaboration with photographer Rees Diepen on several books regarding child development and religious upbringing.[1]
