Artur Międzyrzecki

Artur Adam Międzyrzecki (1922–1996) was a Polish poet, essayist, translator, and lyricist. Born in Warsaw, he joined the Anders Army in 1942 to escape the Soviet Union during World War II. He was a member of the Polish Writers' Association and is known for his translations of major French poets such as Apollinaire, Rimbaud, and Baudelaire. His literary work often engaged with cultural dialogues between Poland and Russia.[1,2,3,4,5]
