Bas Vroege is a Dutch curator, theorist, and producer. He founded Paradox in 1993, a production house for multiplatform documentary photography. He studied economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and photography at Academie Sint-Joost in Breda. From 1981 to 1995, he was the editor-in-chief of Perspektief.
