Bernard Fergusson

Bernard Fergusson (1911–1980) was a British Army officer, military historian, and the tenth governor-general of New Zealand (1962–1967). Educated at Eton College and Sandhurst, he served with distinction in World War II. He is noted for his literary contributions regarding life at Eton College, most notably 'Eton Portrait' (1937), which features photography by László Moholy-Nagy. His career was marked by high-level military service and significant roles in the British imperial tradition.[1,2]
