Charles W. Millard III

Charles W. Millard III (1932–2017) was a nationally recognized art history scholar, writer, and curator. He served as the director of the Ackland Art Museum from 1986 to 1993 and held positions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Millard is known for his scholarly contributions to the study of contemporary art and photography.[1,2]
