Christo Vladimirov Javacheff (1935–2020), known as Christo, was a Bulgarian-born artist renowned for his large-scale environmental installations. Often working in collaboration with Jeanne-Claude, he created monumental works that wrapped landmarks and landscapes in fabric, such as the Wrapped Reichstag and the Pont Neuf. His work is characterized by its ephemeral nature and focus on transforming public space through temporary artistic interventions.[1,2,3]
