Clément Chéroux

Clément Chéroux is a French photography historian and curator. He currently serves as the Joel and Anne Ehrenkranz Chief Curator of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. Previously, he held senior curatorial positions at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Chéroux has a PhD in art history from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, where his thesis focused on recreational forms in photography (1890-1940). He is also an executive editor for the magazine Études photographiques and has authored numerous books on photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Louis Stettner.[1,2]
