David Levi Strauss is an American art and cultural critic, essayist, poet, and educator. He currently serves as a writer and critic, having authored numerous monographs on artists and books on the history of photography and politics. He has held academic positions at institutions including New York University and Bard College, where he has taught MFA programs in art writing.[3,4]
