Eugene Bay is a Dutch graphic designer and brand builder. Born in Istanbul, he lived in various countries before settling in the Netherlands. He graduated from the London College of Printing (now UAL) in 1974 and worked for several agencies in London and Amsterdam before founding his own agency, VBAT, in 1987. Bay is recognized as a pioneer in Dutch commercial design and brand identity, having served as Chairman of both the bNO (professional association of Dutch Designers) and PANL (association of applied photography). He has received numerous awards for his work with major brands such as Heineken, Brand Bier, and Postbank.^[1,2]
