Gerrit Oorthuys is a Dutch design historian and author who has contributed to several publications regarding the history of industrial furniture. He collaborated with Jan van Geest and Otakar Máčel on the publication 'Metalen Buisstoelen 1925-1940', which documented tubular steel chairs for museum exhibitions in Delft and Haarlem.[1,2]
