Heinz Luedecke

Heinz Luedecke was a German art historian and cultural editor. During the 1920s and early 1930s, he worked as a film critic for 'Die Rote Fahne' and an editor for 'Die Rote Post'. Following World War II, from 1946, he served as the cultural editor at the 'Berliner Zeitung', and later at 'Neues Deutschland' (1949–1951). From 1951 to 1966, he was a scientific employee in the Department of Visual Arts at the Berlin Academy of Arts, where he was responsible for editorial work. He authored numerous art historical publications.[1]
