Hildebrand Lucien Krop

Hildo Krop (1884–1970) was a Dutch sculptor and designer. Born in Steenwijk, he initially trained as a baker before pursuing an artistic career in Paris and London. He became a significant figure in the Amsterdam art scene, known for his work in sculpture, ceramics, glass, and graphic design. Krop contributed significantly to the visual identity of various publications, including designing covers for the journal 'Wendingen'.
