Irme Schaber

Irme Schaber is a German cultural historian and author who specialized in the history of photography and the rediscovery of war photojournalism. She is primarily recognized for her extensive research on Gerda Taro, having authored the first major biography of the photographer in 1994. Schaber has also curated numerous exhibitions related to Taro's life and work in museums and galleries around the world, notably with the International Center of Photography.[1]
