Isidor Feinstein Stone

Isidor Feinstein Stone (1907–1989), known professionally as I. F. Stone, was an American investigative journalist and author. Born in Philadelphia to Russian Jewish immigrants, he began his career in the late 1930s. He became a prominent figure in radical journalism, notably for his newsletter 'I.F. Stone's Weekly' (1953–1971), which was recognized as one of the top works of journalism in the 20th century. Known for his politically progressive views and sharp wit, he covered major global events including the Korean War and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He also wrote extensively on Zionism and classical scholarship.[1,2]
