Jaap Stam

Jaap Stam is a Dutch professional football coach and former player. Born in Kampen, he began his professional career with FC Zwolle in 1992. He became one of the most respected defenders of his generation, playing for clubs such as PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, Lazio Roma, and AC Milan. Following his retirement from active play in 2007, he transitioned into coaching. In addition to his sports career, he is involved in literary projects, including contributing as an editor or final reviewer for photographic publications.^[1,3]
