James Leo Herlihy

James Leo Herlihy is an American novelist and writer best known for his novel 'Midnight Cowboy' (1969), which was adapted into a critically acclaimed film. He has also written several other works of fiction and non-fiction, including the book 'The Jargon Society'. In addition to his literary career, Herlihy has contributed critical essays and afterwords to various art publications, notably providing text for Steven Arnold's photographic collection 'Epiphanies'.[1]
