Jonny Steinberg

Jonny Steinberg is a South African writer and scholar. He was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship in the mid-1990s and studied at Oxford University's Balliol College, where he earned a doctorate in political theory. After returning to South Africa in 1998, he worked for the national daily newspaper 'Business Day'. Steinberg is known for his non-fiction works exploring crime, policing, and punishment in post-apartheid South Africa. He has held academic positions at Oxford University and Yale University.[1,2,3]
