Jurriaan Willem Schrofer

Jurriaan Schrofer was a prominent Dutch graphic designer, sculptor, and type designer, recognized as a defining figure in European graphic design from the 1950s through the 1970s. He was known for his experimental approach to typography, creating complex, multi-dimensional letterforms by hand. He worked as an assistant to Dick Dooyes and later as a designer for Drukkerij Meijer. In 1954, he initiated and designed the Christmas issue of Drukkersweekblad Autolijn, which featured the theme 'Idee en vorm'.[1,2,3]
