Ken Schles

Ken Schles is an American photographer based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York. A native New Yorker, he began documenting his life in the Lower East Side in the late 1970s. He has published five monographs over 25 years, including 'Invisible City' and 'Oculus'. His work is held in major collections such as the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is a NYFA Fellow and a foreign correspondent for the FOAM museum blog.[1,2,3]
