Krzysztof Pawela

Krzysztof Pawela is a Polish photographer and photojournalist born in Krakow in 1954. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw, he began his professional career in 1975 as a photojournalist for the Warsaw weeklies 'itd.' and 'Perspektywy.' He gained significant recognition in the field, being named 'Photojournalist of the Year' in 1977. Since 1988, he has been a member of the Association of Polish Photo Artists (Związek Polskich Artystów Fotografików). His work often captures daily life and historical documentation, particularly in the context of late 20th-century Poland.[1,2]
