Laure Prouvost

Laure Prouvost is a French contemporary artist and filmmaker born in 1978. She lives and works between Brussels, Belgium, and London, UK. A graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she is known for her immersive installations that blend film, sculpture, tapestry, performance, and language. Her work often explores themes of emancipation, globalization, feminism, and ecology. She has received numerous accolades, including the Max-Mara Prize in 2011 and the Turner Prize in 2013.[1]
