Ludvík Souček

author

Ludvík Souček was a prominent Czech writer of science fiction and non-fiction literature. Born in Prague to a bookseller and a teacher, he studied medicine at Charles University and later served as a military doctor during the Korean War. He became well known for popularizing 'mysteryology' (záhadologie) theories and writing extensively on UFOs, extraterrestrials, and historical mysteries. While primarily recognized for his science fiction works aimed at youth, he also authored significant non-fiction pieces, including introductory essays for art monographs such as Jaromír Funke's 'Fotografie'. He was a key figure in the Czech sci-fi scene during the socialist era.[1,2]
