Maartje van de Heuvel (also known as Maartje van den Heuvel) is a Dutch art historian and curator specializing in photography. She holds a PhD from Leiden University and has extensive experience curating photographic collections for various institutions, including the Special Collections of Leiden University Libraries. Her research focuses on landscape photography, visual memory, and the intersection of nature and art history.[2,3]
