Matthias Harder

Dr. Matthias Harder is a German art historian and curator born in Kiel in 1965. He studied art history, classical archaeology, and philosophy in Kiel and Berlin. Since 2004, he has served as the director and senior curator of the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin. He is a member of the German Society for Photography and a board member of the European Month of Photography. Harder is an active author and critic who specializes in photography history and contemporary art.[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]
