Mika Kitamura

Mika Kitamura is a Japanese photographer born in Fukuoka and currently based in Tokyo. She began her professional career around 2005, gaining recognition for her work in photography and art books. Her artistic practice often explores themes of freezing moments in time and capturing ordinary scenery or overlapping memories. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Japan and internationally, including shows at the Nikon Salon in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as galleries in Budapest and Helsinki.[1,2]
