Nicolas Comment

Nicolas Comment is a French photographer and composer-author based in Paris. He graduated from the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 1997 and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 1999. He began publishing photo-books in 2001, starting with "La desserte". His artistic practice often involves visual poetry, exploring the intersection between images, literature, and music. He is known for photo-books such as "Mexico City Waltz" (2012), which was inspired by his residency in Mexico, and "T(ange)r" (2014). In addition to his photographic work, he is a musician who has released several albums and collaborated with various artists. In 2017, he received the "Résidence pour la photographie" prize from the Fondation des Treilles.[1,2]
