Paul Hartmann

Paul Hartmann was a French publisher and designer. He founded his first publishing house, La Nuée bleue, in 1926. Later, he published under his own name, producing works of literature, children's books, and a series of 'beaux livres' (fine books) on various countries. From 1945 to 1958, he directed the editions du Mercure de France, and from 1958 to 1960, he served as production director at Flammarion.[1,2]
