Richard Benson (1943–2017) was an American photographer, master printer, author, and professor. He was a prominent figure in the world of photography, known for his technical mastery and his role as a mentor to many photographers. He served as a longtime professor at Yale University and authored several books on the history and practice of printed images.[4,5]
