Sigmund Nathan Menko

Sigmund Nathan Menko (1877–1962) was a prominent Dutch industrialist and member of the Jewish community in Enschede. He was part of the influential Menko textile family, which played a significant role in the Twente region's textile industry. He married Emma Rosa van Dam and lived in their home in Enschede until their deaths in 1962. The family business, NJ Menko, was established by his father Nathan Jacob Menko in 1854. Sigmund survived World War II and remained a notable figure in the local industrial landscape of Roombeek.[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]
