Simon Mlangeni-Berg (formerly known as Simon Berg) is a Swedish still life photographer and visual artist born in Boden in 1983. He studied at the School of Photography in Gothenburg, where he earned his Master's degree in 2012. His artistic practice focuses on the materiality of everyday objects, often treating people as objects within his compositions. His work is characterized by a snapshot aesthetic combined with precise attention to detail and excessive pictorial language. Berg has been represented in several major Swedish cultural institutions, including Kulturens hus and Göteborgs Konsthall, and his works are held in the Hasselblad Foundation collection.[1,2,3,4,5]
