Stefan Arczyński

Stefan Arczyński (1916–2022) was a prominent Polish photographer and veteran of World War II. Born in Essen to Polish emigrants, he began his professional photography career there in 1934. His work is noted for successfully combining Polish and German traditions, often capturing impressions of the Polish landscape and cultural identity. He lived and worked in several cities including Essen, Berlin, and Wrocław, where he remained active until his death at the age of 106.[1,2,3,4]
