Stephen McLaren is a Scottish photographer, writer, and curator based in Los Angeles. He specializes in street photography and photojournalism. He has edited several photography books for Thames & Hudson, including 'Street Photography Now' (2010) and 'Photographers' Sketchbooks' (2014). He is a co-founder of the Document Scotland collective, which focuses on documentary photography about Scotland. His own work often explores the visual oddities of everyday life, such as his series 'The Crash,' which documents London following the 2008 financial crisis.[1,2]
