Stuart Franklin

Stuart Franklin is a British photographer and curator. He studied drawing in Oxford and Whitechapel before studying photography at West Surrey College of Art and Design (BA). He also received a BA and PhD in geography from the University of Oxford. Franklin joined Magnum Photos in 1985 and became a full member in 1989. His work has covered significant global events, including the civil war in Lebanon, famine in Sudan, and the uprising in Tiananmen Square.[1,2,3,7,8,9,10,11]
