Theo Swinkels (1937–1990) was a Dutch artist and author from Lieshout. While he is often associated with the compilation of texts for 'Brabantse mensen', his primary artistic practice involved painting and drawing since his youth. He was known for his interest in realistic depictions of people and animals, often working with acrylic paints to achieve a powerful, quick execution. In addition to his artistic contributions, he held various community roles in Lieshout, including serving as a secretary for local committees.[2,3]
