Thomas Weber

Thomas Weber is a German historian and professor of history and international affairs. He was born in Hagen in 1974. He studied history, English studies, and law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster before pursuing modern history at Oxford University, where he completed his doctorate in 2003 under Niall Ferguson. Weber has held various research positions at Harvard University (including the Institute for Advanced Study) and the University of Chicago before joining the University of Aberdeen as a professor in 2013. His research focuses on European history and global history in the 20th century, with specific expertise in Nazi Germany and Hitler's early life. He is the author of several books, including 'Lodz Ghetto Album' (2004), which won multiple awards for its historical documentation.[1,2]
