Wesley Duke Lee

Wesley Duke Lee (died 2010) was a prominent Brazilian visual artist, including a painter, draftsman, engraver, and graphic artist. Born in São Paulo, he began his formal artistic training at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand in 1951. He is recognized as one of the fundamental artists of 20th-century Brazilian contemporary art, known for his irreverent style that incorporated eroticism, social critique, and psychedelic influences. His work often explored themes of tension, form, and curves.[1]
