Versos de salón is a fundamental work of the influential Chilean poet and mathematician Nicanor Parra. Published in 1962 by Editorial Nascimento in Santiago, this first edition marks the author's return to the 'antipoetry' form he pioneered with his earlier works. The book features design by Fernán Meza and includes 59 black and white photomontages by photographer Daniel Vittet. It is a significant piece of Chilean literature, characterized by its departure from traditional folk poetry toward a more experimental and subversive aesthetic.
