Diane Arbus: The Libraries
€65.00
An accordion-styled fold-out. The books found--exactly intact--in Diane Arbus's apartment after her death.
This unique publication features an accordion-fold (leporello) binding designed by Yolanda Cuomo, printed on matt paper by Meridian Printing and Riverside Bindery. It showcases photographs of books and other objects found exactly intact in the apartment of late photographer Diane Arbus following her death. The work is presented as a gray paper-covered board volume debossed with the title in black on both the cover and spine, housed in a matching slipcase stamped with the title in black. The publication includes an additional 12-page softcover booklet containing detailed bibliographic information, which is pocketed on the inside back cover. A three and three-quarter inch wide continuous band of four-color illustrations runs along the top of the pages. This work serves as a visual record of Arbus's personal library and collection.
