Perception du paysage / Landschapswaarneming / Landscape perception
Ger Dekkers
€14.00
Exhibition catalogue of Ger Dekkers's landscape photographs, shown at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels in 1975, with trilingual text and colour and black-and-white illustrations.
Landscape photographs by the Dutch photographer Ger Dekkers, made in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Dekkers turned to autonomous landscape photography in this period and concentrated on landscapes shaped by people: polders, dikes and other man-made structures in the Dutch countryside. The publication accompanied the 1975 exhibition of the same title at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. It is a slim exhibition catalogue with the text in French, Dutch and English, and it carries both colour and black-and-white illustrations. It follows Dekkers's earlier landscape perception exhibition at the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague (December 1974 to February 1975), which had its own catalogue covering the years 1968-1975, with text by J.L. Locher.
