Texts in Dutch and English by Tracy Metz, Warna Oosterbaan, Willem van Toorn and Noël van Dooren. Theo Baart grew up in the Haarlemmermeer area, an empty polder that was reclaimed in the 19th century, and after 1970 became rapidly urbanized because of the ever growing village of Hoofddorp and expanding Schiphol Airport.
