Es kommt der neue Fotograf! (Here comes the new photographer!) is a seminal publication by Werner Graff, first published in Berlin in 1929 by Verlag Hermann Reckendorf GMBH. Commissioned for the landmark "Film und Foto" exhibition at the Werkbund in Stuttgart, this handbook serves as a cornerstone of the New Vision photography movement. The work features over 100 black and white photographs by various prominent modernist artists of the era, including Sasha Stone, Oscar Nerlinger, Knud Lönberg-Holm, Victor Bracq, and Guido Seeber. It is noted for its innovative "picture-essay format" and its role in introducing international avant-garde aesthetics to photography. The book was quickly sold out upon its initial release of 5,000 copies.
