Ab Lagerweij was a Dutch archaeologist and conservator/restorer who worked for the Archaeological Department of the Municipality of Amsterdam starting in 1972. He was a pioneer in Amsterdam archaeology and specialized in various aspects of the city's material culture, including ceramics and historical artifacts. He passed away in November 2024.[1,2]
