Adam Jeppesen
photographer
Adam Jeppesen is a Danish documentary filmmaker and photographer born in 1978 in Kalundborg, Denmark. He currently lives and works in Uruguay. His work often centers on the concept of time, exploring cross-cultural challenges, technological development, and spiritual depletion through both photography and large-scale installations. Jeppesen gained international recognition with his 'Wake' series, published as a book by Steidl in 2008. His artistic practice is characterized by an exploration of impermanence, where time leaves visible traces on materials, creating works that exist between perfection and imperfection, creation and destruction.[1,2]
