Alain Gillot-Pétré

Alain Gillot-Pétré was a French journalist and television presenter born in Versailles in 1950. He is best known for presenting the weather forecast on Antenne 2 and later TF1 for nearly two decades, where he became a household name due to his humorous style. Beyond broadcasting, he was an author of several books on geography, history, and travel. He died in 1999 at the age of 49 from cancer.[1]
