Andrew Wilson is a distinguished British art historian, critic, and curator. He has held several high-profile positions within the UK art world, notably serving as the Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary British Art at Tate Britain from 2006 to 2021, and as the Deputy Editor of Art Monthly from 1997 to 2006. His scholarly work focuses on contemporary European and British art, including conceptual art and the works of figures such as Gustav Metzger and Patrick Heron. He is currently the project editor for the Catalogue Raisonné of the oil paintings of Patrick Heron.
