Anton Corbijn is a Dutch photographer, film director, and music video director. Born in Strijen, Netherlands, he began his career as a music photographer around 1975. He is internationally renowned for his distinctive black-and-white portrait photography and long-term visual collaborations with iconic musicians such as U2, Depeche Mode, and Tom Waits. His work often explores the intersection of music and visual art, characterized by a grainy, atmospheric aesthetic. Beyond photography, he has directed numerous high-profile music videos and feature films, including the Ian Curtis biopic 'Control'.[1,4,5]
