Antonio Gálvez

Antonio Gálvez was a Spanish photographer and artist known for his distinctive style in portraiture and photo-montage. Based in Barcelona and later Paris, he developed a long-standing collaboration with filmmaker Luis Buñuel, creating several significant visual works about his career. Gálvez is particularly recognized for his portraits of cultural and literary figures, including a series of photographs of Julio Cortázar taken between 1967 and 1972.
