Bernard Cuau (1935–1995) was a French lawyer, journalist, documentary filmmaker, and cinema critic. He served as the editor-in-chief of the photo section at Nouvel Observateur and was a member of the editorial committee of the journal Les Temps Modernes. A graduate of the Sorbonne with degrees in law and philosophy, he became a prominent figure in French cultural journalism and photography criticism.[1,3]
