Billy Klüver

Billy Klüver was a Swedish engineer and artist who became a pioneering figure in the integration of technology and art. Born in Monaco and raised in Sweden, he studied engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In 1966, he co-founded the organization Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) alongside Robert Rauschenberg, which aimed to facilitate collaboration between the artistic and technological communities. Klüver was a prolific writer on the intersection of art and science, authoring several books including 'Making Art Work' and 'Kiki's Paris: Artists and Lovers 1900-1930.'
